In order to print various products in a satisfactory quality with our spent grains material, we need the correct print settings. Since this is a newly developed material, no data is available and we have to determine it. To do this, various calibration steps are carried out. The data of the bioplastic used serves as a reference. The first step is to find the appropriate temperature at which the material can be extruded evenly without a nozzle. In the next step, the process is repeated with a nozzle and then the first geometry is printed. If the quality is not satisfactory, changes are made to the parameters. Step by step, the optimal parameters are found.
